Wildlife River Floating & Rainforest 

We pick you up early and drive inland to the Río Corobicí, about an hour and a half from the coast. From there you spend two hours drifting through Guanacaste’s tropical dry forest.

 

You don’t paddle. Your guide handles the raft while you watch the banks for howler monkeys, iguanas, herons and crocodiles warming up in the sun.

After the river we stop for a Costa Rican lunch at a local restaurant, always with vegan and vegetarian options. In the afternoon we walk through a private reserve where sloths are often spotted resting in the trees.

It’s an easy day that works for every age and fitness level, from grandparents to young kids.

Every animal you’ll see is wild and living free, never in captivity. We take you to the places where your chances are best, but each sighting depends on nature and on the animals themselves.
